Disposal of old electrical & electronic equipment (applicable throughout the European Union and other European countries with a separate collection system)
The symbol of the crossed-out waste bin on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product is not to be treated as household waste. Instead, the product should be brought to the appropriate disposal point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. If the product is disposed of correctly, you will help to prevent negative environmental impacts and health effects that may be caused by incorrect disposal. The recycling of material will help our natural resources. For more detailed information about the recycling of this product, please contact your local community office, your household waste collection service or the shop where you purchased this product.
§ 18 EU – Battery law:
Because we sell time recorders and time stamp devices that contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obliged to remind you in accordance with the battery law (BattG): Batteries and accumulating storage batteries must not be disposed of in the regular household waste, but you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Old batteries may contain harmful substances that can harm the environment or your health with improper storage or disposal. Batteries may not only be harmful to the environment but may include also important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and are recyclable. Please use the batteries return containers in the immediate vicinity (E.g. in the trade or in communal collection points). The crossed-out wheeled bin means that you must NOT dispose of batteries and accumulators in the household waste.
